ScottishPower Renewables, the UK's largest onshore renewables developer and Vattenfall Wind Power, the Swedish energy utility, have been awarded rights to develop up to 7,200MW of wind capacity off the coast of East Anglia as part of The Crown Estate's Round Three offshore wind programme. This is known as the East Anglia Offshore Wind (EAOW) joint venture.
