Welcome

ScottishPower Renewables, the UK's largest onshore renewables developer and Vattenfall Wind Power, the Swedish energy utility, have been awarded rights to develop up to 7,200MW of wind capacity off the coast of East Anglia as part of The Crown Estate's Round Three offshore wind programme. The joint venture is known as East Anglia Offshore Wind Limited (EAOW).

This website provides information about this development and will answer many of your questions.

EAOW has just held two Public Information Days at Felixstowe Town Hall on 20 July and IP-City Centre, Ipswich, on 21 July as part of its Phase 1 Consultation.  To find out more about Phase 1 Consultation and to view all the exhibition material, leaflets and feedback forms, please sign in or register on the site (below).

Further unmanned exhibitions have also been held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre, Holbrook, Suffolk, and at Woodbridge Library, from 18 - 22 July, at Ipswich County Library, from 25-29 July, and at Hadleigh Library, from 29 July to 5 August.  There was also a manned exhibition at Sainsbury's, Hadleigh Road, Ipswich on Friday 29 July.

To make sure we consult with as many people as possible, EAOW is also giving a number or presentations to Parish Councils around Ipswich, starting with Kirton & Falkenham on 12 September at 7.30pm.  You can view the presentation in the download section on this site.

Leaflets outlining our plans have been made available together with feedback forms.  You can, of course, also view all the material on this website.  If you would like to make any comments on our proposals please e-mail the website.  Your views are important to us, so let us know what you think.
